Looking for a New or Used Nissan?

There are benefits to buying both new Nissan and used vehicles. Some drivers prefer making the investment on an untouched model that has never seen the road, while others are drawn to the affordability of used vehicles. No matter what your preference might be, you can't go wrong with a Nissan. One way that we like to accommodate our Tullahoma neighbors is by maintaining an inventory stocked with a wide selection of quality new and used vehicles to keep you moving toward your dreams no matter what your lifestyle and budget requirements might be.

At Newton Nissan South, we pride ourselves on carrying a variety of pre-owned models from the industry's most popular brands, but Nissan is undeniably our recommended brand due to its reliable, attractive, and satisfying vehicles, which are as safe to drive as they are fun. Whether you prefer the comfortable and efficient driving experience of a sedan or the versatility of a family-friendly SUV, we have you covered. From a pre-owned high-performance Nissan 370Z to a brand-new, highly capable Nissan Frontier, we have it all, and we're sure you'll find your new or used Nissan here at Newton Nissan South.

Our Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles are subjected to a rigorous inspection before they reach the showroom floor. Each CPO Nissan comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and complimentary roadside assistance. We put these vehicles through an intensive 167-point inspection to ensure they're of the best possible quality, which means you'll get a near-new car at a fraction of the new car price. All CPO vehicles must be less than six years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles. CPO is a great option for budget-minded customers.

There's a Nissan Perfect for Every Driver

What is it about Tennessee life that brings people together? Here in Tullahoma, the community is tight-knit and family-oriented. Tullahoma is known as "Tennessee's Rising Star" for a reason: it's a buzzing, fast-growing suburb just south of the bustling city of Murfreesboro that enjoys a storied past and a bright future. The Nissan brand is synonymous with the same practicality and high standards that Tennesseeans embody, and that's why it's a perfect fit for our area.

Having a diverse lineup of cars, trucks, and SUVs makes it easy for any Tullahoma driver to find a Nissan that's perfect for their needs. While a sedan might be an efficient means of travel, it might not provide enough seating or storage space that a large family will need. Similarly, as versatile as an SUV is, some drivers might rely on their vehicle specifically for work, requiring them to look for the most powerful truck options for towing and hauling. Here's an overview of a few of Nissan's most popular models to demonstrate that no matter what your driving entails, there's a Nissan designed to satisfy all of your vehicle requirements.

Nissan Rogue

If you're in the market for an affordable, spacious, and versatile SUV, you'll get the most bang for your buck with the compact Nissan Rogue. It's been a part of Nissan's lineup since the 2008 model year and is nestled between the subcompact Rogue Sport and the midsize Murano. Although it might be more compact than the Murano with a smaller engine, the Rogue surprisingly provides more cargo space for the same number of passengers. The Rogue is also significantly more fuel-efficient, especially with the cutting-edge 1.5L VC-Turbo engine introduced for the 2022 model. But don't worry, towing is still an option for the Rogue. In fact, many model years can tow just as much as the larger Murano.

Nissan Altima

For a fuel-efficient midsize sedan, The Nissan Altima's sleek and athletic appearance represents both performance and class. It is not your typical sedan and is certainly not what you would expect for a family-friendly car. The Altima debuted for the 1993 model year but was a continuation of the Nissan Bluebird line, which dated back to 1959. Through the years, it has continuously provided drivers with a spacious interior, ample trunk space, and impressive performance for being a daily driver.

For the 2019 model year, to compete against the SUV craze, the Altima became the first sedan in Nissan's lineup available with all-wheel drive for added confidence on any road condition and in any weather. Then for 2021, the Altima received a 2.0L VC-Turbo engine option to enhance performance even more, making it more comparable to its high-performance big brother, the Maxima. It even provides more passenger space and cargo room than the Maxima, and with a lesser price tag, you can't go wrong with the long-time favorite Nissan Altima.

Nissan Frontier

Many Tullahoma drivers prefer pickup trucks, and the midsize Nissan Frontier is a great option. It has been in Nissan's lineup since the 1998 model year and has delivered many segment firsts through the years. Not only was the Frontier the first compact truck to offer four full-size forward-hinged doors, but it was the first with a factory-installed supercharger and the first with a cargo bed larger than six feet.

The Frontier is the smallest pickup Nissan has to offer, but that does not make it any less capable. Sure it might not pack as much power and strength under the hood as Nissan's full-size trucks and may seat one less person, but if you can handle a little less muscle and seating for up to five passengers, the price makes it worth it. Plus, with a standard V6 engine under the hood versus the V8 engines that the Titans are equipped with, you'll get better gas mileage with the Frontier, making it a better commuter truck for traveling around Tullahoma.

Nissan Titan and Titan XD

As for the Nissan's full-size trucks, you'll have a choice between the light-duty Titan and the heavy-duty Titan XD. Both pickups are pretty similar, offering an accommodating and spacious crew cab configuration that can seat up to six people with front bench seats. Both are equipped with the same standard V8 engine, although the Titan XD was available with a Cummins turbo-diesel for the 2016 to 2019 model years. However, even with the same engine, the Titan XD has a reinforced frame and upgraded suspension that allow it to excel at towing and hauling.

While the cabin options for the two models are basically identical in size and accommodations. The Titan XD however has fewer configurations for you to choose from, available with only the crew cab and a 6.5-foot bed. The crew cab Titan, on the other hand, is only available with a 5.5-foot bed. You can also purchase the Titan with a smaller extended cab, also known as a King Cab, with the 6.5-foot bed, but you'll lose seats when opting for that configuration. But the biggest difference between the two is that the Titan XD is only available in one drivetrain option: four-wheel drive. So if you're looking for better fuel efficiency with rear-wheel drive, you'll need to buy the standard Titan instead of the heavy-duty variant.

Nissan Pathfinder

Nothing beats the versatility of a large SUV. And with an extra row of seating, the midsize Nissan Pathfinder is one of Nissan's most versatile SUVs. Not only does it have plenty of room to be a family vehicle, but with truck-like capabilities, you don't have to pick up a pickup just for your home improvement and landscaping needs. Believe it or not, the Pathfinder was not always a three-row SUV. It has been in Nissan's lineup since 1985, initially as a compact SUV. Over the years, it morphed into a midsize crossover, then back to an SUV on a full-size frame, receiving the third row for the 2005 model year. Today, the Pathfinder provides seating for up to seven passengers with a flexible cabin offering an abundance of interior cargo room with its flexible cabin space with 60/40 split-folding second-row seats.

A white 2022 Nissan Armada is shown driving on a trail in the woods.

Nissan Armada

For the largest and most capable SUV that Nissan has to offer, we bring you the Armada. It's a three-row full-size SUV that can seat up to eight people and tow more than the Nissan Frontier. It may have originated as a variant of the Pathfinder in early 2004, but by the end of the year, the Pathfinder received its own badging and has had its identity since. The Armada has been powered by a V8 engine versus the V6 commonly found in the Pathfinder, giving it the strength and power of a truck for work and for playing on the trails but positioning it well under the Pathfinder's fuel economy ratings. The Armada also comes with a heftier price, but the sacrifices are worth it if you're looking for the most interior space and more standard premium features so that you and your family can experience luxury even with the base model.

What We Love About Tullahoma

Tullahoma is located just 71 miles southwest of Nashville and spreads across both Coffee and Franklin counties in the southern part of Tennessee. Founded in 1852, Tullahoma was originally a work camp set up to service the growing Nashville and Chattanooga Railroad lines. After the opening of the Arnold Engineering and Development Center, which is part of the Arnold Air Force Base, the town became a center for aviation and aeronautics. That spirit of innovation fits in well with Nissan's mission to innovate and create amazing vehicles.

A city of nearly 20,000, Tullahoma is home to the University of Tennessee's Space Institute as well as the famous Beechcraft Heritage Museum, which draws aviation buffs from around the country. Tullahoma is also known for its extensive nature preserves, including Rutledge Falls, a well-known spot for hiking and discovering off-the-beaten-path swimming holes. It is a welcome relief from hot Tullahoma summer days. Other hiking trails, like Short Springs, offer longer, more strenuous hikes and plenty of beautiful waterfalls.

Visit the George Dickel Distillery in Cascade Hollows to taste a vast selection of small-batch whiskeys. These whiskeys are made with local Cascade Springs water, the facility offers daily tours, and the on-site visitor center offers keepsakes and whiskey to-go. George Dickel founded his distillery in 1878 after a successful career as a merchant in nearby Nashville. During prohibition, Dickel sold his whiskey as a medicinal spirit to avoid shutting his doors. Today, the George Dickel Distillery sees thousands of visitors each year.
